I'm new here and just recently i keep getting this error, i tried reinstalling and stuff but this always happens in-game, when i exit BSF, when i start BSF, or when i enter some modes in BSF (though of course its not always the exact same message)

any ideas?

it's looks like you're running on vista or 7. where have you installed the game's files? if they're in a read only folder to non-admins (like "programme files") the game may be blocked from accessing it's own files, which has caused errors like this. the best way to test it out is to install bsf in your own documents area, and run it from there. hopefully you shouldn't get these kind of errors occurring

are you launching from a shortcut, or directly from the icon in the BSF folder? sometimes, when the game is installed in an odd place, especially with Windows, I find that it doesn't like launching from shortcuts all the time.

I run the exe file.

I'm having the exact same problem. Could it be an update of windows? Because I never used to have this problem, and I know for sure I played the game in December, so it would have happened after that.

Question. Does any of you hibernate their computer? BSF Doesn't like that.

No, I don't hibernate. But for some reason the game works now! Thanks for the help anyway.
