When I start up the game I get an error:
ERROR in
action number 1
of Other Event: Game Start
for object GUI_MainTitle:
Error defining an external function.
Don't know why it's doing it, but it's really disappointing, was working great this morning and uninstalling and re-installing doesn't fix it. Can anyone help?

Re: Start-up error D:
That happens when the game can't access certain files on your harddisk.
This happens for two reasons:
1. The required files have been deleted. Unless you've gone over the game folder with a butcher's knife, this isn't very likely.
2. The OS is preventing the game from accessing the files. This happens on Vista because of the User Account Control permissions. In fact, it's so screwed up that it will let you install the game and on that session that you installed the game, the game will work fine. However, on the next session you will no longer have the permission to access the files in that folder and the game will not run. This can be solved by changing your UAC settings to allow you full read/write access to the folder that BSF is installed on. Another way to solve this is by installing BSF into your c:\<username>\ folder as you should always have full access to this folder.
