Personal board style settings should be here:
ucp.php?i=173

It should be on subsilver2 by default. If it isn't, I need to go do something. Is it on subsilver2 for you guys?

EDIT: Oh wait, didn't realise arca messed with it. What's it on now man. Remember to force the default if you want to change it otherwise we'll probably never see it.

This is fine.

I mean, I was THIS close to squeling about the skinny layout and profiles being on the right side.

Oh, you can also insert videos, like so;

Code: Select all

[flash=320,240]http://www.youtube.com/v/HjGrHBpfqCo[/flash]
Makes;

Don't abuse it. :)

Okay, got automatic thumbnailing on image attachments to work (it won't apply to old posts though, only new posts. I think you can edit your post and delete -> attach the file again to correct it). Also, max nested quotes is now set to 3. Goodbye quote pyramids.

You can now change the font! You can't use every font under the sun though -- it can only display fonts that the viewer has. If they don't have the font specified, their browser will use the default font.

;)

Pointless abuse of the font tag will get you slapped and possibly warned, same as pointless use of the colour tag.

I've enabled PM reception for the Moderator and Meta2 Dev groups, should you need to message either of them for any reason. The former might be useful for discussing stuff-that-needs-to-be-moderated with all of the staff, whilst the latter is mostly to smooth the submission of Player Outsiders.

Enjoy.

Or don't, you miserable bastards.

I decided to quickly plug in a little spoiler tag feature, so you can hide larger images or walls of text. Good for logs. You can also use other tags within a spoiler as normal.

Code: Select all
OMG a secret message!
Becomes;
Spoiler!
OMG a secret message!

As an experiment, I added an acronym tag? What does it do? Well, if you use it correctly, you can make it display the full text for something on mouseover.

Ex;

Code: Select all

[acronym=Low Earth Orbit]LEO[/acronym]
becomes

LEO

The full meaning of the acronym is displayed on mouseover!

...this probably isn't really that useful but I guess it could be kinda handy sometimes?

That's actually pretty cool. :) Now when I have random acronyms in my ship names people who give a shit can hover their mouses over it to see what it is.

Shouldn't there be some indication that there a hover tip? Like dotted/dashed underlines or something.

EDIT: I use chrome too.

No there aren't. I see no dotted lines.

Maybe it's Chrome's fault.

Sounds like a browser thing, seeing as I use firefox and see the dotted lines fine.

Did you modify the themes to support the dotted line decoration arca? It's dependent on the CSS to show and to my knowledge chrome shouldn't have any discrepancies there too. Incidentally it looks fine on my firefox but doesn't show up in my chrome.
