Questions..?

I know at the time of posting this I'm a noob, and I know these have probably been asked before... but please don't get pissed because i asked a couple questions....

The last 2 levels on the career, are they coming out any time soon?
How do you convert a ship made with BF into one from SW? And what is SW anyway?

Yes I know I appear to be a noob, but it happens with everyone doesn't it?

Im not entirely clear when the last 2 levels will be implemented, and SW is just a different style of sections, that was originally made by ShipWrightArms, and to convert them you use Kaelis's converter tool the Shipwrightizator

And, no, there is no direct way to turn a ship into SWA style without going into Shipmaker and directly changing out the sprites.

Edit: Forgot that BSF .sb4 codes can be edited. Oop.

If it's an .sb4 you could sort of edit the filepaths it in a program like notepad to switch sprites.

I just opened the .sb4 with notepad and used 'replace' to switch out the majority of the sprites so I didn't have to change parenting and such. Dosn't work on the folders where the sw file names aren't similar to their originals though

You know you can just open up the section panel, select the section you want to replace, and then right click the replacement section in the panel, right?

thanks for all the help guys

thought i was really gonna get owned for questions like that... every forum I seem to join for a couple weeks then leave i can never acomplish anything because i have such a low post count. I'll probably give up on this forum by start of january...

Posts should always be judged by quality, not quantity, and there's nothing wrong with asking things that aren't included in the documentation.

Not all of them, the ones with red backgrounds are though.

true, though i was thinking of before the .ini was released. Haven't tried to convert any ships since then.

oh and can i get some SW style weapons as well? BSF weapons don't look right with SW sections
