Battleship Forever and Windows 7
Here a small report on the Funktion between Win7 and BSF
I have tried Battleship Forever on Windows7. Everything runs without probleme. Even much better than with Windows Vista. Even the Frames run again perfectly. Nevertheless, with Vista there were on occasion the problems that the Game mittendrinnen falls. Now the problems have disappeared everybody. So I am able for Vista-User only emfpehlen to change on Windows 7.

No. Problem.Homer wrote:Thanks for the report, I was wondering if W-7 was gonna mess up BSF apparently not .
Thanks again.
At the beginning I was very sceptical. But after I have installed Starcraft on my PC and went everything without problems, I was really glad. Then I have immediately BSF gesture-continually. As above-said, I can recommend only Win7.
This say I only reluctantly, but Microsoft has performed good work.

I have Vista, and pretty much everything from Tyrian2k to Quake to BSF work well, if sometimes a bit glitchy. Still gonna jump at 7 if the rumors are accurate to any degree whatsoever.

From what i heard, it can be a bit cranky with processor heavy programs like Wing3D, music maker programs, and even some of those ''cure cancer while your computer is inactive'' programs, i think their called @home, or something like that.
Another thing, most pc's running vista now, should easily be able to use it, my dad has it installed and found it to be more stable than both XP and Vista, and even though he is an anti-windows man, he seriously considered to install it on all the other pc's at home as well, as a secondary OS.
Though, if your in need of drivers, expect many Blue Screen Of Death moments, my dad had to wait 2 days for a stable driver for his video card came out, otherwise, the pc would BSOD every 20 or so minutes.
http://hardwaremania.com/news/wp-conten ... sod_01.jpg Though they made the BSOD's a bit more understandable to read with a online library, and i think their summarized in a help topic as well, what happens if you don't have internet, not that i think anyone owning Win 7 doesn't have internet, but think about it, thats a serious fault on Microshits side.
EDIT: no, not illegally downloading it and installing it on the other pc's, or atleast, not that i know of.

Nothing is forever. It can't be. 'Cause everyone changes.
Whether they want to or not, they need to change. Myself... Even you!

I had no other choice to change as. Since my PC gets together much more performance thanks to Win7. Although me this has interfered not really, as well as topically my PC is. But I plan to buy to myself a graphics map which supports XDirect 11.

Been running it on win7 for a while now (RC). One thing is that screenshots in SM don't seem to work - dunno if the admin privileges are all screwy or something :/

If you're actually using a translator ... then well at least I can understand what you're saying basically. I'd try to get a better translator though if I were you.X-14 wrote:you got it.
