wepon problem

i downloaded some wepons but i put them in battleships forever and is says add them as doodads or sections and i can't put them as wepons
plz help !!

Step 1: Get an actual weapon from the left.
Step 2: Select the weapon.
Step 3: Clip on the tab on the left that says "ED2." It's right under "Edit."
Step 4: Click on "Custom Weapon Sprite"
Step 5: Double-click on "Custom Sprite," then double-click the folder with the weapons, then double-click on the weapon sprite.
Step 6: Repeat this with other weapons.
Jeez people, do you need step-by-step instructions for everything? Read the friggin' Documentation!
