A little challenge
Who here can best combine BSF style sections,Shipwright Arms style sections,and Fraxy sections?
Sounds only a slight bit mad at least to me.

Lets step it up a notch.
I present a challenge to ye ambitious shipbuilders:
Combine BSF style sections, Warning Forever sections, Fraxy sections, SA's TSA style sections, Eri's fuel rods, AD's two-pronged nose with sweeping side wings at the rear shape, Anna' grade section arrangement, at least one of every default section including Kaelis' steampunk and mecha sections, Arc's heavy composite turrets (fully functional), incorporate Eri's self-destruct and fin funnel triggers, make use of Danny's tendency for vibrant colours and forward shielding, must completely fill a 1024X960 screen, use at least 1 of every weapon and module (modded), cannot be shaped as anything remotely construed as phallic, have logically placed EX thrusters everywhere, make use of at least three other people's custom sprite sets on top of that (BT's perhaps), be stock balanced for its size, have a fully-functional complex transformation trigger and, finally, a backstory spanning at least 5 paragraphs long (must include thesis and conclusion).

Realism, seriously? It's a space ship game. Realism was thrown out the window a long time ago.
Energy weapon turrets should also have charging sequences and animations, and include glow triggers that emulate heatsinks when the weapon fires, and kinetics should have animated ammo belts/recoiling barrels/ejected casings as appropriate.Squishy wrote:Arc's heavy composite turrets (fully functional)

The ship must also have visible hangar bays, with fully animated doodads depicting hangar activity and fighter craft. The ship must also have a complete understructure detailing all auxiliary facilities, as well as triggers that will shut down the ship if certain reactor sections are destroyed, and I got into one little fight and my mom got scared and said you're moving with your auntie and uncle in bel-air.

It was still kinda a silly idea before Squishy twisted it, but yeah, the original concept was workable if unlikely.
