problably part of the module targets don't mirror glitch, a can actually end up linking the booster module to something on the peices palette
http://img687.imageshack.us/i/boostpallette.jpg/
as you can see in the selection box the peice seems to be affected by the booster.
*how to reproduce*
1: put a part onto the ship and mirror it
2: put a booster on the upper half of the ship
3:target the peice on the lower half of the ship
4:look at your peice selection thing.
-additional info-
no error appears during this event
when tested, the booster just selects a random peice on the ship.
ship saving is not stopped by any "booster module needs target" notification
hope this helps

Re: v0.90c Bug Reports - READ FIRST POST
found a major problem with atleast encounters:
i was running some performance tests on my computer while playing BSF and found out that although the memory used by an encounter is wiped after quitting it using esc, if the encounter finishes (with either victory or defeat) the memory does not return to its previous levels which causes a loss in performance
also if the load/play encounter browser is closed without a selection the game produces a whole string of error messages about the menu screen

There is no OP, there is only more boosters...

"I put no stock in religion. By the word religion I have seen the lunacy of fanatics of every denomination be called the will of god. I have seen too much religion in the eyes of too many murderers. Holiness is in right action, and courage on behalf of those who cannot defend themselves, and goodness. " Kingdom of heaven.

Make sure none of the files in the directory are not set to read-only, particularly anything that's either a config (ini) or save (sav) file.

Re: v0.90c Bug Reports - READ FIRST POST
checked all the files in the directory and the only ones that are set to "read only" are the foldersArcalane wrote:Make sure none of the files in the directory are not set to read-only, particularly anything that's either a config (ini) or save (sav) file.
if it helps it's only effecting the BSF game but not the SM
EDIT: went back to try and run the game again now I just get the "Unexpected error has occured" text...I also went to go look into the "game_errors.log" and found this:
FATAL ERROR in

not sure what it means but just felt like it might help

Re: v0.90c Bug Reports - READ FIRST POST
guess it must of been a glitch in the system because now everything is working fine!
