Cycerin, I ment the BSF pic, if you look at the back section 1's by the railgun mount, those same setion 1's have an impossible in game layering.

edit: fixed name (sorry)

Oh, right. Well, I think the L-shaped section actually isn't underneath anything. It's just pixel-perfectly placed.

Don't rush him! It takes time to develop art, and this is as good a time as any to make the most epic art as any. All things come with patience.

Oh, right! Let's try this then: Take all the time you need, cycerin, just as long as you're working on it!

Someone should import the picture into a bunch of custom sprites for sections and weapons and then rebuild the Athena.

Even though it will probably go against the tactical readout notion.

Yeah, and I'm not sure how good 'pencil drawing' would look in BSF :)

No, because this is a hobby project and not a day job. After thinking a bit, I doubt I'll draw all the stock ships, I think I'll draw atleast the Cronus and Hestia.

You're really into hexagons, aren't you? I see them here, as Aegis, and on your Sachumodo cruiser too. But it looks good!

Turning the small particle gun into one little glob is a good idea, I think. Otherwise it wouldn't have looked much like a gun anyway, it's far too small for that. The way you handled the core is great too, it really IS the core of the ship. And not just some blue blob.
