I just came.

EDIT: In my haste to express my extreme like, I seem to have forgotten to ask: When do the rest of us get this?

EDIT 2: With my initial overwhelmed-ness subsided, I notice a vast majority of the sections from the section suggestion thread used. I suddenly have a new religion.

Have you people even read the interview LS posted at the top of the thread?
"Lately, I've been working with some of the guys who play Battleships Forever to release a major new version of the game. Thomas "Kaelis" Gawarski has added a whole bunch of spectacular features to the Ship Maker such as rotating and transforming sections and custom sprites. Others such as Arcalane and Cycerin have also been very helpful in putting stuff together for Battleships Forever."

Sheesh, I'm the only one with patience here.

I'm more concerned about the system thingie. I'm pretty sure I can handle it on secondary computers, but my main computer is the weakest... sooo...

Edit:

Did you managed to fixed up some very minor shipmaker things, such as mirroring error, and module mirroring errors, etc?

Holy shit! That is indeed orgasmic!

Can't wait to see more things revealed. Will be waiting with baited breath ...

A bit OT but Happy Chinese New Year to those celebrating!

...Hmmm, here's a nice question, did you make any changes to the famous Hestia, or if you want to push it a bit, the campaign? Image

Last question of the day.

Edit: whoops, you could blame spell check for that. -.-;

Holy shit, I never thought I'd see the day, this is, this is crazy...

...and bloody brilliant... My crew approves... I'll be looking foward to the next release... :D

As for the problems people have been having with the GIFs, I've found that the GIF works fine at first, only to slow dramatically after the ship finishes opening its wings up, then, after it finishes closing its wings and the GIF loops, its fine again, at least untill the ship finishes opening its wings again...
the infamous Hestia
Infamous!? You do realise infamy is a bad thing, right? Unless, of course, you hate the Hestia, but the rest of us, AFAIK, are quite fond of it and it's not as if it's unbalanced (as the Moira used to be)...

Ship building will never be the same, ever.

This is most likely the awesomest things I've seen ever since I saw starships on a screen duking it out and little weapons and parts getting blown off for the first time.

Heh, imagine what the noobships would be like with moving parts. :P

*Imagines a writhing mass of poorly-parented, Aegis-covered sections with overpowered guns that don't move along with the sections they're attached to*
