BSF not saving ships

I'm not sure why but BSF won't save my ships. Help would be nice. I'm running it on a desktop pc with windows vista 64-bit thanks

Vista would be your problem, unfortunately.

1) Make sure BSF is in a folder where you have write access.
2) If you can, make sure you're on an admin account.
3) I strongly recommend running the UAC in silent mode or just plain off. Your PC will stop complaining about the lack of UAC, and it's nice without the paranoid popups.

In short, Vista is very finicky. Others will probably have better fixes/advice to hand than I, but 1 and 2 are the most important steps that I can recall.

Basically,Don't put it in program files.
The C: directory will do,pretty much the case for all highly modifiable games or non retail stuff.

Try checking here, C:\users\[username]\appdata\local\virtualstore\program files\battleships forever, that should be where it saves ships if you have UAC on.
