I'm sorry if there's a topic how to do this and/or is in the wrong place' This is my first tut i've ever made.
HOW TO MAKE WEAKPOINTS
1. Open Shipmaker.
2. Make A Part.
3. Insteed of placing parts on the core' Were Making Parts On the weak point(s)
4. All Weapons Are placed on the parts' not the core (Silly Billy!!!!

)
5. Modules are placed on the weakpoint or the parts.
6. Name Your Ship.
7.
ENJOY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Tip. Parts of the ship can be on the core if you want.
Tip. Try Aegising The Weakpoint' This will make it harder.
WARNING: This Sucks Dude Is for the weakpoints hp' (10 is the real' but you may tweak it.)

Congratulations. This is quite possibly the most worthless post I've read all day, and the most worthless Guide I've ever seen on this forum. You should be real proud of yourself.

worth·less
–adjective
without worth; of no use, importance, or value; good-for-nothing
Why does this suck?
Because this sort of thing is common sense to anyone who's even played around with shipmaker for five minutes. It's certainly not anything that needs a guide made about it, and if it did, it would need one that says a little more than "don't parent everything to the core" which is plainly obvious.

It's spelt "halved", and I have no idea what you mean by this statement.

Unfortunately I don't understand this guide...

my ship's weakpoints are based on weapon design, placement, and number of weapons, not the ship's hull itself.

Here was I thinking that this was going to be marginally useful...

It's a guide for making structurally weak points on ships that, if destroyed, take large amounts of the ship's hull with them. Quite a few ships have weak points like this, and usually it's completely unintentional and often unavoidable, so a guide for it is almost entirely unnecessary. Particularly one that does nothing more than state the obvious.
EDIT:
ArcaneDude's
Veneratio Deus is actually a very good example for this. There's one particular section on that ship, that if destroyed, will take over 60% of the ship's hull with it.

See that Section 22 that I highlighted? It's fairly exposed, with only a handful of sections covering it from a rear attack. Watch what happens when I delete that section:

Bam. That's pretty much instant death for almost the whole ship. And I sincerely doubt that this was intentional. But it is very difficult to avoid, and not something that you need to try harder to do.

My guide to weak points;
Don't do them. They're illogical.
