Given that they should be a lot easier to recolour, one could just find the -end- colour of the toothpaste beam (ie after the blending in the "current" system) and then use -that-.
Right?

can it be made that we recolor weapons and modules as well? so to blend in with the color of the ships.

Well there is a slight difference. The recoloured shots are monchrome, so they won't have the same intensity white cores of the original shots. What's while will be fully the custom colour and everything else will just be a shade of that.

so, can we have an ETA of when will we be able to use these coloured shots?
I hope the shipbuilder files of the current one are still compatible with this feature...

Okay, I got the Beamers working now, changed the screenshot to show the WTFS Rainbowticus in all its glory instead.

I would just like to point out that the Rainbowticus is FAAAAAAAAAAAABULOUS .
Th15 said over on IRC that the main issue with the cyan beam is how he aimed it.
