But really, it hasn't. Kind of like the wiki, it just died fast.

I just got into BSF, and am having alot of fun with the BSFSM, but I can't get the Ship Deployer to work. Can you help me?

Welcome to the forum, Aerth!

That question is better suited to the Shipmaking Q&A thread in "shipmaking info and resources". But I'll answer it here.

I assume that you're having problems with the file name, right? That's really the only confusing thing about the ship deployer. When you type in the name, be sure that you end it with ".shp". just typeing in its name doesn't work. Also, its best to have the .shp file in the main BSF directory, instead of in the custom ships folder. This saves you the trouble of having to type in extra folder names.

The problem was the folder, thanks. By the way, I love your signature.

I've read the directions on how to play Raid. Do you have any hints on how to get a high score?

Bring in either 3 Hestias, 3 HestiaAlpha, or 2 Hestia and 1 Helios (for Defence)

Since raid is the easiest word to put on action... Hestias has the weapons for the task... Position them in a line forming a barricade...

Keep them in that formation like the Peitho Defence Formation and advance whenever you need to...

Move sidewards to the Northeastern part of the map

Keep the deflectors in control... make them shield the front most of the time...

Then advance till it's done...

You don't wanna start in the Southwestern part for there is a battlestation there...

for the Alien ship with 4 aegis... use one of the hestias to attack from behind... use the one that isn't targeted for easier control... keep the hestia leaning to the target and hit those aegis module out... then the rest is yours...

Having a Helios can be helpful to defend the rear too but a bit harder to organize...

If you find it hard using this tactic... It means you're impatiently charging them...

I tried charging using this set and i failed earlier than my first attempt..

Hope it helped...
