Most curious, still there's always 0.88. I'm returning to it until this mess is sorted out

Try looking at the game_errors.log file in your BSF folder. Errors are now written there instead of a popup, that's the only change to the way the game loads ships.

It would still screw up, you're just not being shown the error message now.

This is why we need spoiler tags.

-----

Problems with the new version:

> Can't load custom ships; unable to click on a location to spawn the ship. (EDIT: Like DeathsHand said)

> Funky Flux like Arcalane posted.

> Sandbox idles at 30FPS, however, when accelerated time is activated it only goes up to ~75FPS, in 0.88 it went up to ~850FPS. I don't have any FPS problems on the main menu, though.

I was able to spawn ships in the new version's sandbox but I can only spawn player controlled ships. if I select allied or hostile the ship still spawns as player controlled

for me, I'm simply flat out unable to spawn ships. If I click on one of the "spawn ship" icons, nothing happens. Nada.

Over here in Sandbox Mode it's letting me click on the icons and select a ship, it's just that when I try to actually place the ship, nothing happens.
