Can't we set the music for the encounter?

Also, would it be allowed to switch game difficult in encounters, just like career mode? It could let player try harder level or easier level.

But I found a problem, that the encounter maker works slowly when with many ships, and ships of all waves are shown all at once, which make it VERY slow. Also, clicking on the minimap refuse to move the screen there.

Also, the database does not accept .enc files!

I think it does now. Just remember that only a short time ago the database wouldn't accept .sb3's, either... :P

If you still can't upload your encounter, try putting it in a .zip or a .rar.

Unless he decides to revamp the system...if he does, hopefully he'll include defaults if a variable isn't specified or something.

Just a quick question: Do I have to uninstall my current version of BSF, then install the latest version with Encounter Maker, or can I just install it? I'd really like to try it, but I don't want to lose the ships I have.

You can just install over the old version. It won't overwrite your custom ships (unless you named them the same as the default ships included in the game).

Then while you have a wepon selected in ship maker check under edit button, there should be a shot color option.

Some users may have trouble updating, delete the BattleshipsForever.exe and Shipmaker.exe in your BattleshipsForever directory before re-installing.

There is are two small tabs to the left of the shipmaker screen, just right of the parts selection. The edit tab should be right next to the "add" tab.

So if the game's feature-complete, does that mean that this shipmaker's ships will be fully compatible with stuff in the foreseeable future, and all that? Cause I wanna get back to designing muh ships...
