Snazzy. Nice detail, but not so much it doesn't fit with stock BSF parts. ;)

What do you mean? It looks very similar to the BSF rod.

Also, I'm all about multiple different styles for parts anyway. Some can be classic BSF, others can be simple, and still others can be 'techno-baroque'. Adds character to the game.

And only th15 can decide how he wants the art direction of the game to go, and I suspect, by simple reason this thread exists, he would probably want more variety with designs. :)

Speaking of, where is he?

That's exactly what I mean. It looks like it would fit alongside the normal parts.

I'm here, don't worry.

Incidentally, your limit is actually 78x78 (since a border means 1 px on every side) but a preferable size is 77x77 since odd-sized objects flip more accurately. So yea, try to have sections with odd dimensions.

Also, let's see some more alien sections!

Interesting kind of "tail" or "nose" (flip horizontally) section there. :)

Also interesting that odd sizes flip better. Maybe this has something to do with the mirroring offset issue?

Uhh, it is the mirroring offset issue :)

Unfortunately by the time I realised this it was already pretty late. If I changed all the sections now it would mess up all the ships.

Yarg, I took cracks at it... All of them failed. Hm. Maybe if inspiration strikes me some time, I'll try again, but as it stands I didn't do so well in making a part... Aheh.

Everyone else seems to be doing pretty well... Now, if only I could approach the levels of success everyone else is getting... Ha!

Either way, there are some awesome parts in here... Nice job to everyone... Yep.

My mind is too star wars to make anything loose and curvey. =/ I'll take a few more shots though.
