Yes. It is awesome for pixel art, and quite easy to learn. The only things it needs are layers and transparencies.

Well, it's not as if anyone ever uses that.

Add Layer > Paintbrush tool > Draw where you want the spray > Gaussian Blur > Alpha Mask > Merge Layer Down > Presto: Spray Paint Effect.

Yeah, but the GUI is too complex for my tiny brain to comprehend. :P Same reason I don't use Photoshop, despite owning it legally.

Getting better, but I think they need some sense of height, or some kind of shading. Might just be me though.

The Gimp, Paint.Net, and Photoshop all require you to LEARN them because there POWERFUL and FULL of POTENTIAL, hence why each one is complex, especially when the other person has learned to use another. Everyone is abliged to learn whatever one catches there eye.

I must be the odd one out, i never really needed to learn using photoshop. Everything seemed to me obvious and perfectly logical from the start. I always thought PS is very intuitive.

This one is totally awesome, but I think you need to rotate it until it gets "symetric", so it would be easier to stretch.

Looks like it could also be used to comb other ships.
