Curiouser and curious - er, I mean, awesomer and awesomer. :p

Missile launcher is nice, now I can get to building that MechWarrior-inspired Catapult ship that's been floating around in my head. :)

And the thruster is also much welcome.

Import ship GUI is awesome, now there just just needs to be an improvement of some kind to the spawn normal ship/enemy message box, as it seems kinda dated compared to the shiny GUI. :P

Actually, it's fine as-is, it would just be nice if there was a button that brought up a list of the numbers associated with each ship, so it was less guesswork.

The second section repeats indefinitley when I try pressing ignore

If you need any extra info do say, i'm a little confused about this error though...

Damn, back to this problem again. So far I've narrowed it down so that I know that it only happens on Vista. However, I've tried it on my own Vista box here and it works fine. Can you give me some details about your computer and what kind of user account are you on (i.e. Administrator or Standard account)?

Y'okay

I'm on vista, as you guessed, and on an admin account.

Got an AMD 64X2 processor in here, with 2GB of ram backing it up.

ASUS motherboard, 8600GTS video card...

Umm, that's all I can think of as far as things. I think I did have this problem wiht another version too, went away with an update...

What version of Vista are you running? I've just tested it and it works fine on Vista Home Premium. I ask because my copy of Vista doesn't have some of the security "features" that other versions may have.

In particular, User Account Control may interfere with the game having access to it's own data files. Retarded, I know.

To turn off UAC, go to Control Panel>User Accounts>Turn User Account Control on or off

Hey Th15, you said that the new shipmaker would not be able to open sb2 files right?
Well with the new one, I can.

Uhmmm... Am I missing something? I can't find thruster in the ShipMaker. I can find Missile Launcher, but not thruster.

That and could you make it so that engine trails also come out of thrusters? I know it would be purely aesthetic but still, it would make the thrusters look like they're actually doing something other than being a burden on your ship.

Thrusters are a module. It looks kinda like a jam jar. :)

And I agree, trails from thrusters would be nice too!

Proof, as if it was needed, that thruster trails work;

I think I figured out how to make thrusters make sense for you. If you want to make your ship faster, but you don't want to unbalance it, slap thrusters on. That way, your ship can be slowed down to a more reasonable speed.

I may be late to the party on figuring that out though.
