ok calvin, that's all fine, you just need to update the weapon on your corvette too
and jomn, i was leaving that free for only approved entrants, but i've added an incomplete entrants list as well

ARHGHHGHGHGGHGHGHGHG.
vidboi, I am going to exploit a flaw I found in your calculator because otherwise this shit is gonna be ridiculous and everyone's just gonna make ships with laserspam.

if the flaw is swapping duration and clipsize i will rage... otherwise, go ahead

Hmm... how's this for a proto-type? It's not balanced or freshened up yet, so, it's not ready, for entry, but I'm reserving a spot with it.
Propulsion
1x Chemical Thruster (1000 mass, 400 power) on Large Fixed Mount
Armament
2x Warhammer Swarm Torpedo (460 mass, 200 power) on Medium Fixed Mount

the section hp on the wasp comes out as 990, not 790 (the shipinfo file says 1490, minuts 500 from the shield is 990) also, fixed weapons should have an arc range of 0, not 0.5 (it does effect the caluclator quite substantially)
OK here is my first entry for the corvette. (edit: I fixed the corvette and the cruser)
ship info:
Spoiler!
2 chem thrusters each on a large mounting, mass:1000 power:500
1 large mounting
shield: none
ship size: about 60 mass: 3,600(3,600 used), power:1440,(1440 used)
cruser class ship:
ship stats:
Spoiler!
ship size: just below 120. ship mass: 14,400/14,400 ship power: 5,760/5,760
shield: 1585 defense. Shield Regen: 20
Mounts: 3 large stationery mounts( power:400, mass:1000, used for chemical thrusters)
5 large mobile mountings(power:395, mass:675,each)
I used the meta, is that ok?
thanks, was fun to enter.

Hey vidboi, put these stats into the calculator and then look at the result. That's the flaw I was thinking of exploiting.
As it is, I'm not sure if I'll even bother making more ships to enter the tournament. It's horrible beamspam-city and because you're having people post ships in the thread instead of PMing them to you, people will download the other peoples ships and then abuse the fuck out of the system to make better ships and then rinse and repeat and that's stupid as fuck.
[23:17:28] <Anna> I wish that the winning formula wasn't "find the most exploitable overpowered weapon, spam lots of it".
[23:17:32] <Anna> But it always is.

I put them in the calculator and it came out with 2080 power, and you can't have that much on a mounting, unless I put it in wrong.

Might be because I'm using OpenOffice. Or I might have forgotten to mention putting "Turning" at 0.
Putting deviation at 90 sets at "Effectiveness" and "Effective DPS" of a weapon at 0 and as a result makes said weapon only cost 100 mass and 500 power.
