As much as I would like to thrash Nagaya for the final time, I'm sure I'll be able to get by with just the new shipmaker, and so should you.

I know, and the new shipmaker is great, but the plot is kind of a cliffhanger right now. And I don't mean that it needs it immediately, but it's gonna need the last two missions by v1.0.
Will work for kewl sig/av

mabey some sort of stealth system for ships, and being able to use deflection shooting.

than alowing ships to shoot at empty space at where ever guessed that the cloacked ship could be.

also: i didn;t read through all 18 pages, so i dunno if something like this has allready been mentioned.

Any chance of th15 to release new official ships to be equipped with new official weapons released on this version?

And if there's a chance of th15 to read this post, i have a suggestion. Rather than releasing new .exe installers every version update, i have a better idea. I think it's time for this magnificent game to have a direct server update system, so that we don't need to download 14 megs or more every time another patch is released.

Just a thought.
Taken from the 0.90 release topic. Well, that's just a suggestion.

We did that during the 'beta' phase and believe you me it was a clusterfuck trying to manage everything. Most of the 'complaints' we got with the execs not working was because we expected too much from people - we thought if we put all the links where they could be seen and noted as MUST HAVE THESE FILES TO RUN that it'd work. But no. :|

A direct update system would probably be more effort for us than it's worth for you.

Not to mention that you would still need to download 11mb worth of exes. So you would gain only 3mb. Not worth it.

Maybe (either in a future update or BSF 2), the physics could get a little attention. The physics are passable, but there is one particularly annoying thing in regards to weapons: When your weapons fire, they don't take the speed of the ship into account. Just look at a zelus firing and you will know what I mean. The weapon should be traveling at the speed of the ship + the additional speed it was given when launched.

Perhaps Custom bullet sprites for beams and railguns to not act retarded. Locked origins, sprite size restrictions - I don't care how you do it, just find a way make them work. :(

Speaking of rotating sections, the centre of rotation can just not be at the centre of section, but any arbitary point at the section or even outside the section.

By a company? So it ill be a comercial quality game? :)
I know its not a suggestion, but I really wanted a FAQ for BSF2

Recoil from weapon fire, The recoil from a tac nuke should be able to stop, slow or reverse a ship by some degree. Example small ships would slow down more than a bigger ship if firing a large weapon when moving. There could also be a recoil setting in the edit tabs in Ship maker. Recoil would go really well with moving triggers.
Part of being sane, is being a little bit crazy.

That's intentional. Otherwise your firing arc would be affected by your movement. Hell, move fast enough and you wouldn't be able to fire in certain directions.

Not only does it become near to impossible for the computer to calculate targeting data, it's going to confuse players so much they won't know when they can shoot a target.

Additionally, it doesn't make sense with non-newtonian physics.
