Doesn't seem to have fixed the problem.

PS: Are you sure you uploaded the right folder? Because you said it would just be the .3ds and .x, yet all of the formats in the first link are still in the download...

I gotta texture it now haven't I?

Sizing?

If you mean the model size, one editor I have displays the model -VERY- small, and I have to zoom in to be able to see it correctly, although this isn't a problem with trueSpace. (object unit scale - fit to screen)

sizing will not be a problem, all that i would need to do
is scale the model to an existing model that comes with the game.

i don't think texturing will be much of a problem either,
except for the time and effort, cause you seem to be a good texture maker :D.

btw, due to the sheer effort of trying to make a SoaSE mod,
i'm switching to a game called freelancer, which me and my clan, Foxhound (Clicky),
are already modding, if you agree, of course :).

I never knew freelancer did mods...shows how much I pay attention.

Yeah, Neon green texture would do you? What format does it have to be? .bmp, .jpg .anything...

not too much green lol, don't wanna make it cheesy now .
.TGA will work.

i checked out the model, it seems there where errors in the writing of all the files, all to do with faces being missing or in the wrong spot :(, try using Blender (Clicky) to export.

Well I've gotta say, Weevil, your Hestia is fantastic... Even untextured it's easily the best 3-D depiction of a Hestia I can recall and it's by far the closest to how I've always imagined a 3-D Hestia would look... The dorsal fin is an interesting toutch, but personally I'd remove it, and why are the foward blaster cannons smaller than the pulse guns? The blasters should be the same size or bigger...

Fantastic job otherwise... :)

Why I hate .3ds files

Now. if you move your eyes back to the .mov I made, if all the bits that are orange, become green, would that work?

I've never really thought of the blue dot being just a marker, I've always assumed it was just the reactor bulging out a bit, like some of the ships in schlock mercenary.

The lights are fine, maybe you could make it a sort of med-dark green? Like sorta like master chief's suit from halo, only a little lighter?

Heres a list of files i can work with:

.pgm
.3dm
.asc
.max
.prj
.geo
.ase
.dxb
.dwg
.dxf
.c4d
.cpp
.x
.rax
.mdl
.peo
.iob
.iv
.lwo
.lws
.mts
.ndo
.off
.flt
.pro
.md2
.md3
.map
.raw
.xsi
.spx
.objf

Yeah long list .
Any you know you can export without errors?

BTW i like that you used multiple object to make it,
cause that makes it very easy for me to make it so pieces can be blown off :),
so it would be awesome if you made damage texture between the secondary hulls and the main hull,
also the engine and the MH and the bridge and the MH :P.
You are sooo good at modeling, you make me look like a baby playing with legos comparatively.

P.S. I just thought about it, and i think i'll make the guns you have on there be separate from the ship so that they rotate and have their own fire/hit sounds/textures, also so that both guns on them fire , that also means making a texture for where the turrets/main guns go :).

P.P.S. If you have freelancer I'll see what i can do about having my clan leader let you be a tester :D.

What type of errors are we talking about here?

Oh yeah. If you think I'm good, first off, you're wrong, and second off. This guy really deserves credit.

.x is the most, object safe but because you don't have .cob I can't ensure that it'll be fine

I also don't have freelancer. What type of tester btw?
