Heard about it from a thread on StarDestroyer.net, promptly posted in on Tau Online (the thread reached 28 pages).

Also been spreading it in RL as well, got a number of people into it.

I first found BSF on the GamingSteve forum, Daxx posted it. I then removed it and redownloaded it about 2 weeks ago on Yoyogames.

found out about it by reading basically every single (wayyyy to much free time) game info thing on the igf site, thought it sounded cool, and whammo.

My friend BillyJoeBob showed me some of the stuff he's been working on and I thought it looked pretty cool. So I signed up here to post my own work after I'd improved somewhat and here I am today. I've tried mentioning BSF to some of my internet friends without much luck.

Originally I downloaded it on yoyogames while bored looking for shmups, it was awesome then. Then I forgot about it.

Recently I stumbled upon a thread on FP about it, then I remembered it's awesomeness, now I've found your forums. So now you have a new postermandudething.
