Ya know.... ....I don't mind these. I mean they could be a lot worse. Shading and shapes are nice, my only problem with them is their size. their pretty big.

but I do love the beam weapon.

Jay_Shn2 is the only one worth keeping. The shading on Jay_Shn1 is godawful and the whole thing is far to flat and square and ugly. The beam sprite is far too dark and not really very interesting. The "Dathing" section might be worth saving if you make the dark bit brighter, or make the bright bit darker, to give it more consistent shading, thus giving it more versatility, but as it stands, the shading on it is still a little wonky.

OK time to make smaller sprites and correct the damn Kae SHn_1's shading. (That one was bugging me too). Oh and I will definately use your advise guys thank you!

I mean that their big for my tastes. I prefer to use smaller sprites or sections that look like they are made up of smaller sprites.

Your shading is still shit, a box with three lines on it is not detailed, and sections should be centered. Try using that last one as a central section for a ship. Then mirror it. Maybe you'll see the problem.

*Sigh* unfortunately I am not sure how to get it centered correctly. Also, I would go so far as to say, that my shading is better than Kaelis'. Finally, alot of sprites I see have less detail than mine. I would, however, appreciate more exact criticism on the "your shadin is still shit" and exactly what "detail" is.

Point to me even one Kae_Shn sprite with less detail than yours. All of your sprites are largely just completely flat with maybe one or two rectangles in them. You can feel free to go as far as saying your shading is better than Kaelis's but you'd be fucking wrong. Oh, it's more technically accurate, that's true, because Kae_Shn sprites are edits of ripped video-game sprites, and thus have weird and inconsistent light sources, but your shading goes from bright white to near pitch black and makes the sections fucking worthless for making a ship with any sense of depth. They'd look like complete crap if you tried building anything with them.

But since you're apparently fucking brain dead, I'll educate you with fucking pictures, you dumb asshole.

Let's take a couple of larger Kae_shn sections and see what kind of details they have.

Note how the shading is smooth and neat and helps define the fucking sections and give them some god-damn depth and a sense of a proper shape. Now, I'm going to highlight the detailing on those sections in red.

Note how, if I highlight all the details like this, you can barely see the section anymore, because despite these large sections being rather smooth and flat, they still have lots of little details to make 'em stand out and look nice. Now let's take one of your sections and measure the level of detail on it by the same metric.

EDIT: And here's your latest stupid sprite properly centered. How hard is it to shift the fucking thing so it's in the middle of the picture? Apparently hard enough that Jay2Jay can't fucking manage it! What business do you have making sections if you're incapable of centering a god damn picture?
