Dump anything you find that has merit as being inspirational material for the creation of new weapons, turrets, sections or whatever here.

Starting with this fuckoff huge render that InkFox posted, 'cause it has some pretty nice twin turrets. I'm no sprite artist though, so I doubt I'll be taking a crack at them any time soon.

Though I'd ask I be given the chance to get this done (this ship specifically, please feel free to take any inspiration from it you can) before anyone takes a crack at it, I know the artist and to convince him to texture it I promised to build it in bsf.

Hmmm... if that's the case, do you think he could be persuaded to provide top down views of the turrets? That would help a lot if anyone wanted to convert them.

I'll make the request, one there's pretty close but it would be sueful to have the sizes exact

I think I'm going to be stopping here often for inspiration. Inkfox--I'm probably going to be modelling future Earthan ships off of that.

I'm sure there's and ancient topic somewhere in the archives with some unused sprites. They were on a sheet by CheesyErwin aralonia (actually decided to look at the thread again), including the railgun and twin railgun sprites (with a few failed attempts for the latter) but I forgot to note down where exactly, I'll look.

I happen to have a dozen photos of some ships I made out of Lego somewhere last month. Their quality/colours/detail might be crap (detail because I didn't know what the hell I was doing) but it's inspirational stuff. I've made top-down, left/right and rear shots, and some 'zoomed in' shots of whatever the other pictures didn't show properly.

I have a Photobucket account set up here. Yes they're shit but remember it was made with a 3MP phone camera. I'll probably add some photo's of some other Lego things I have.

Hurdederp, I shouldn't make all these edits. (Yes, I think 3 in a week - there's some more coming - is too much)

Anyway, I'm adding some better photos I made with the proper camera. You might see some other things emerge on it as well. By the way the password's 'Helios', with the capital H.
