Not from anything, I just drew it. None of those are really from anything. I looked over the exoskeleton pics but didn't actually copy any of them. Good inspiration though

I like that last piece, the claw one. It's very crisp and even looking. On the opposite end of the spectrum, that honeycombed piece is my least favorite. It just looks off, living creatures aren't necessarily symmetrical, but I can't imagine that on an animal.

I imagined it going over other pieces, like a mucus layer or membrane. It would probably look good with additive blending.

That's a beautiful ship design right there. And yeah, it looks fungus-ey I guess, but it just doesn't fit to me. If that outer edge was even, it might look better but it's so erratic right now, it doesn't look right.

Well, I'm sorry I'm complaining so much, but what if you just dropped the whole outer circle? If it dropped off at the edges it could be placed over a part to give that fungal growth look.

Yes that looks much better, I can imagine placing this on a ship.

EDIT: Like the guy below me said, if there was a couple variations of this, it would be really useful.

SO I'm continuing to work. Going to add a few more complex exoskeleton pieces, then a few basic small ones and then move on to the organs, tentacles, muscles, veins and so on. Then I'll do some more fungus like things, maybe some plant. After that I'll release the pack as v.1.0 and start changing or adding what needs to be changed or added.
