The next step is curved pipes, corners, and joints - that is, if you were serious about the 'piping system' idea :)

I believe that section sprites work best in an 80x80 box - not sure if there's a problem using smaller ones. Oh, and no matter what the size of the box you'd do well centring your sprites so they rotate better.

Sections not in 80x80 get messed up glows.
Also sprites need a one-pixel black border for transparency. =o

Update! Centered the sprites then made some more sprites then centered those too!! Lol :lol:

I suggest you take a page from Kaelis' book - namely the modular piping he used in his steampunk sprite pack.

These also look nice, but one thing that bothers me is that some of them resemble some of the Kae_steam sections. Though it would seem kinda of inevitable.
