Per request, attached is a zip file that contains the weapons used by the Auroran States(http://www.wyrdysm.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=4013)

Displacers(Light, Medium, Heavy)

Ions(Light, Medium, Heavy)


The Bullets used are very simple bullets. The only real unique one is the Light Ion which is off center to make up for the off centered turret. Placer and Displacer bullets were designed with the railgun/sabot gun in mind.

These aren't very alienish to me. They are, however, Incredibly blocky looking, and like you said the bullets look generic and old school.
