I *love* those guns. MAC gun is the best untill now, and it seems what I originally intented as a bridge sprite is being used quite inventively to awesome results. Good job.

Are those fuel rods intended for use as engines, or external fuel tanks? Either way, they look great, but the concept of exposed fuel tanks always confused me.

Oh man, now that I realize what those two massive prongs are I see that it's basically a oversized gun turret with engines and stuff strapped on.

Double-freude.
Realism, seriously? It's a space ship game. Realism was thrown out the window a long time ago.

Could you put a bit of black space behind your vulcan sprite, so that the mounting is in the center of the image? The way it is now, the turret turns on the axis of the barrel (a bit odd looking).

(I assume BSF pivots guns around the center of the sprite, based on what I'm seeing.)

Tadah. I had to slim the entire thing down to get it odd widthed for perfect rotation, and it's probably not -quite- perfectly centered on the main hull, but it's a step up.

Hate to necro, but I think this is relevant.

I was playing around with Arc's modified minigun sprite, the one 2 posts above me that rotates correctly. It's great, but its selection box is enormous. I had my mouse a good hundred pixels away and i was still getting the red outline on the minigun. It was really frustrating, as i meant I had to remove them, finish work, re-add them, and then remove them again every time I needed to modify something. Any fixes?

Unfortunately not. SM is much less picky about how it makes the collision boxes. The only way -I- could fix it would be to add it as a completely new weapon, or replace the existing vulcan sprite...
