Colourized versions of the default grid;

Red

Perfect for making evil ships! Or not.

Blue

When you want a more blueprint-y feel to your designing.

Green

Or greenprint-y.

Save to your BSF folder and use the Change Background option under tools.

Yah, I know I could convert them to bitmaps in my sleep, but that doesn't change the fact that they've already been blurred by the jpeg format.

My guess is Arcalane uploaded them as bitmaps and Photobucket auto-converted them to jpegs.

Er, yes. Stupid photobucket. I'll convert the bmps to png and reupload them in a little bit.

Hey all! I've been lurking for a while (since v.6x or something) and finally got around to registering. I came up with a tri grid for a background. They're good for helping with making 3-lobed ships, or just looking cool. I made the brighter blue and red versions, then the muted ones that didn't clash with the foreground as much. The heavier lines intersect at the (0,0) origin, or at least it does on my computer.

I like... Would cause me to make some interesting ships...
On mules we find two legs behind
and two we find before.
We stand behind before we find
what those behind be for.
