Remember when I was terrible at shipmaking and would just make people sprites instead? No? Good.

Because these are so much better.

Yes, that is a custom hand section I made. And it rocks.

If this game ever does take off, the zoom would be so far out that those slight sharpness issues with the bio and shiny would be unnoticeable.

They look good. Make sure to give the "player concept" direct controls for a more halo-y feel if they are ever released.

@Zal, huh, I never really considered releasing them as ships. I could just make a nice-looking mech and deck it with super fun shtuff.
@Necron, yea, that's the pet name I give to the IRL friend who asked me to do this. I should convince him to join these forums, I know he does have and dabbles in BSF from time to time.

Those are awesome...This game really needs collisions and neutral objects so you can turn it into a FPS...

That would be pretty cool, although you can only ask for so many things.
I would be adding more, but midterms definitely took a stranglehold over my life and the person who asked for these. Later this week I should get back into this.

Doogie, have you made any tutorials or ever given any hints? Since you are one of the best, if not the best ship builder around, I would think that you might like to share your wisdom with all of us lesser beings.

What Majic said. It took me a long time to be considered at this level (look at my join date). Many others have progressed much quicker than I have, such as Majic here or Zalausai who have both created some pretty awesome things.

...And I still don't even consider myself in the same league as Starstruck or Anna.

Mr. Doogie, because I am afraid that replying to your Miora Colonies thread would be considered a necro, I have decided to ask this question here.

Why have you stopped building ships for the Miora Colonies? The fleet still seems a bit... lacking. Lacking in battleships, stations especially, fighters, carriers, missile ships, frigates, corvettes, and gunships.

@366storm. The faction was pretty fleshed out at one point, but the faction underwent heavy rebalancing and got pretty trimmed. The rest has been due to IRL stuff, such as a girlfriend whom I love, graduation, and moving into college.
As Lukasmah said I made a lot of cool things for the faction to which I ultimately plan to upload...
