In all seriousness though, I haven't had much free time with being a parent and a full time college student. I check in here periodically to help people with problems I believe that I can solve. Currently, I'm pursuing a degree in game art and design at the Art Institutes: Online Division. I finally had some free time today to sit down and visit this place.
Note: In the last 24 hours, the moderator logs show 146 new first posts. 144 of these have been denied, because they're spambots. 2 have been approved, because they're people.

I was given some moderator power a while ago. I can approve or deny first posts.
This allows me to see the control panel that shows the moderator option to approve or deny. I don't have any other options available to me.
Me, Doogie12, and another person were given this ability.

Those were not people. They were just a more subtle brand of spambot that replies in an innocuous fashion, and had spam links or spam written all over their profile.
99% of bots can be ID'd simply because they actually fill out the profession/interests fields (and always in lowercase, even for things like 'USA') unlike actual normal forum users.
