the steel horizon is the primary carrier flagship of the delta coalition. it is equipped with multiple fighterbays and is capable of launching a variety of strikecraft, but most common are the bleeding edge sting class strikefighters. this variant lacks beam arrays and instead relies on more conventional lasers and high caliber pulse guns for defense. it does however posses a large frontal pulse beam and is capable of launching long range valkyrie missiles. modest shields keep it defended from enemy fire, but it is mainly reliant on supporting destroyers and cruisers for defense against enemy warships.
