It's not exactly brightness, it means the intensity of the colour. Too much and eyes burn.

Oh wow the Shiny stuff is amazing! My first ship that uses Shiny Sprites is the Turhon.

Unfortunately the Bubbleshield module don't fit with the shiny sprites so its transparent.
Suggestions Please

Here;s a suggestion: don't stretch the sprites that far. They look really low-quality after that. And also you can recolour weapons.

No, that's the number 1 rule of shiny, Do not ever stretch sections, ever
Also, that is a really, really saturated red. Less saturated colors means that it is mostly greyscale, with a tinge of color.

The back part looks way to square, and the color transitions are a bit too intense. You may want to add some mid color between bright and dark parts.
