Like the design, depthing looks good, the only problem I see is the coloured version looks a little over saturated. Dull it down a bit and you will have a nice little ship there!

Don't take screenshots where there's so much empty space. Draw the box much more tightly around the ship.

^All designs styles have been pretty much exhausted by this point. That's easily different enough from the Novians.

Those sprites are often used together because they are of a similar style, it's not just the Nove. In fact, it shows that you know what looks good because you've used them together! Keep practicing!

Also, it would look better if the section flows harmonically with each other.

I don't know. Maybe it looks neat as a core for bigger ships.

It doesn't need to be a core, just making it quite as simple as adding bits and making the section flow with those wings would be fine for ristyo's level of skill. Although i know you are only mentioning that it would just look like a neat core and not suggesting it.

When I make big ships, I usually sketch them out first, just so I know what I'm building, otherwise, I go on an imagination spree and go wild. Try either of these ideas.
