Well, I don't know if I've managed to get sections connect right, and that this ship looks generic as hell, at least I've finally used doodads right. I think. At least it looks cool.

P.S. Don't mind the multi-beamed laser, I just like the look of those.

It's also horribly saturated. Tone it down please.

Sadly, I can't do that from this laptop. It's horribly brightened, and so for me it looks OK, but I've seen how it looks on a normal monitor. But I'll do colours better when I get back to my computer... Is there anything wrong with this ship other than colours?

There's no obvious flaws. Tis a nice, solid ship. Section work could be better, but that only can be improved with loads of practice.

Well, another ship. For some reason all my ships look like thin sticks.

It's weaponised with 4 small green lasers, 1 dual medium laser, 1 green missile, 1 particle PD, and 1 "Knife" green beam.

Not really better than my other ships, but...

Those glows look good, a bit of overlap here and there, but still.

It's still saturated. Don't just turn it darker on the colour slider, bring the actual colour closer to grey.

If it's still too saturated, I give up trying to compete with my laptop's brightness.

This little thing is weaponised with 2 small red lasers, and 1 big violet laser guided by a red target beam.

Yeah, it's kinda too dark now. Honestly the first yellow ship was still OK, even if kinda on the oversaturated side. My current gripe is the different colours clashing.

Tried something else with the colours, but had no idea what to build, so here's an angry ball of gold, and a little thing with a shield.

Two small green lasers, two medium green lasers, nothing too much.

Two medium green lasers and that's all that there is. Possible, if that's an old screenshot - there's also two small lasers.

Well, I've decided to switch for a while from my yellow-coloured theme, and made this guy, that I call Thrudgelmir.

can your laptop's brightness be lowered?

I don't think so. At least, if I lower the brightness it becomes too dark, so that I barely see anything.

I'm sure it can, if you're on windows 7 or vista and possibly 8 or other OS's, just click the battery icon in your taskbar and use the slider found in the bottom of the adjust screen brightness screen. You probably have function keys for it too, either way you should be able to find a decent middle ground between super bright and super dark.

I've played for a bit with my laptop's brightness settings. It appears it's not horribly brightned. It's horribly saturated, and that's where do all my problems with saturation go from.
I've tried recoloring Thrudgelmir, but from my point of view I've again too saturated it.
