It's pretty hard edged, would probably be best with the third turret.

Cruelty has been refined. A new front end has been put on it. This changes its shape from a rod to an arrow.

Arrow. Sure.
Apart from its hilarious shape, it's still quite well done.

A minor testing release is now made available on the main page. Ship stats and screenshots and also included.

Comments and critique are good to ensure that the battle with GATC's ponies goes well.

All ships are now present in the initial release of the Elements of Discord.

Comment, Critiques, and Combat Reviews are Appreciated.
Note: They are a little powerful, but not indestructible. After all, their opponents have kickass shields.

Ok let's begin
Avarice:
The weapons system don't have enough HP, the broke far to easily,
The section driver have the same flaw.
It become a toothless, tentacle mess in 10 seconds flat ^^

Cruelty:
100 HP /sec for EACH blaster is damn too high.
The standard blaster is at 14/sec, and is often reduced by the armour of the enemy.
Your weapon is about 10 time more powerful (if you count armour in the process)
The frontal weapon don't have enough HP
1500 core HP is also far too high. 750 would be more that enough ^^

Deceit:
One of the few equilibrated XD
Just a little too fast and resistant

Disjunction:
Near Perma shock ...
Missile too resistant (0.1 !!!)
1100 core HP is a too much
But an overall fire power quite low, near good for a ship of that size (would need 2-3 support light weapons)

Enmity:
It's the Cruelty big brother in all regard with just the lack of PD...

Mourning:
It's a combination of the Avarice's flaw and Deceit one ^^

Treachery
glitched
Spoiler!
Image
It come from the weapon driver
For now, with the glitch removed:
8 pulsar cannon
80 HP/bubble
2 bubble per shot
1 shot every 2 sec
==> 640 HP per sec over long range
==> Ouch
In about 30 sec, you destroy the shield of my battlecruiser.
That, with only the pulsar cannon!
The boosted Tachyon (who is one of the most powerful weapon of the game even if not modded) annihilate any resistance.
And he is fast as hell XD

Zalausai wrote:They are a little powerful, but not indestructible.
3 of them just need a 6 ships cruiser fleet to be destroy XD
Zalausai wrote:After all, their opponents have kickass shields.
20 000 "SP" shield is the biggest available, and it don't last long against 3 of your ship ^^
It's a battlecruiser shield, and a HUGE and easy target.
They don't have many HP below it ^.^'

Balance is subjective. You should really see Anna' stuff.

It's not a stand-alone fleet. This fleet is ment to be GATC's counterpart, so it makes sense balancing it against GATC's ships.

Balance is not truly subjective, it's why company like Blizzard and Riot Game have team to take care about that.
And since this group of ship is here to battle mine, and my try to be balance against the Metagame ship, and thus, they also must be kinda balanced against them.

If you say so...
Anna ship are mostly for display, not battle (correct me if I'm wrong), thus do not have the shape nor the stat to do balanced battle, what Zalausai's ships are a little for ^^

I'll revise their combat statistics when I can.
Avarice: Supposed to do that, it's a mining freighter.

Treachery: I'll check the values against another ship from the DGW (cruiser class). At least it's pretty. It may be the wrong version.

Cruelty: Heavy dreadnought, usually appears alone against your fleet. The stats are one step higher than the superheavy violet laser from the DGW. It only carries a few. They also do not go through sections like a railgun, since they are just blasters. The maneuverability sucks, use something faster. The front weapon is a laser, they're supposed to be delicate for this concept.

Disjunction: yes, it locks down one ship. It's meant to be fought with more than one.

Mourning: No balance issues presented

Deceit: No balance issues presented.

Enmity: It's the leader, it will be the only ship when faced. A fleet is expected.

Remember, ponies and other characters work together. However, the same is not true for villains, which are alone or few in number when it comes to cartoons.

While they use some DGW things, they are in no way meant to be compared to the DGW balancing standard, since they aren't a large enough group or large enough in number to even qualify as a faction.

Ship counts in "faction"
Avarice: 104
Cruelty: 13
Deceit: 24
Disjunction: 3
Enmity: 1
Mourning: 27
Treachery: 34

I will update the main page with ship counts later. Also with updated versions of the offending ships.
It does seem fitting that it takes that many pony ships working together to defeat one of these villains, but I'll look them over anyway.

Most weapons can be found here. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/lv? ... D&pli=1111

All ships are for display. Balancing is always secondary to aesthetics. DGW is different, of course, but it still is preferable that your ships look good too.

Anna's ships are balanced. His old stuff like Memento Mori and Gilgamesh, which would do horrible things to both your framerate and dignity, were as I recall balanced to eachother. Most of the veteran shipbuilder fleets were incredibly powerful back then so they were also geared to beat eachother.

I'm glad people have mostly stopped trying to make uber ships though. The design quality has skyrocketed, and going by the tournaments and such most players couldn't balance a fleet with a gun to their head. This stuff looks very nice, might even get me to putter around with BSF so I can play against them.
