Well, I really like this one. The runes fit in well, too. But yeah, I agree with Necro, the shield looks out of place. The core thing could also use some work. Add a bit of glow and some flare, maybe?

Yea that's totally not true.
Miram, it looks fine, although you did color it weird. The higher up sections should be lighter, and it should get progressively darker as it goes down.

I will clarify this for you Miram. The game views ships from the top. The sections that are closest to the player (the higher up on the ship vertically that they are if it were viewed from the front) the brighter they should be.
The sections that are lower on the ship (more towards the ship's bottom, the darker they should be.)

Reiterate:
When people say that the top of the ship should be brighter, they actually mean the areas that would be on top of the ship (if it were viewed from the side instead of the top).

Helpful:
One simple trick that use is to start bright in the center (near the core) and get darker as sections get farther away.

Prety+ty good. Maybe make those runes glow just a little bit and make the darkes parts just a bit brighter, because when they are this dark detail can't be seen. Other than that, it looks really good. Much better than before.
