I've been looking at this for way too long. Someone please tell me whether the glows are too much or whatever.

The glows that are too much are...
The fighter bays, they come to the edge of the wing. Maybe shorten them a little.
The glow in the front. It looks much brighter than the others with those teamstripes there.
The engine glows. They have no color.

All of the others glows appear fine.

All I can say is a bit more teamstripes, and moving the glows from the fighter bays a bit farther into the ship.

Well, I tend to use a lot of glows so it looks fine to me.
I agree with adding more teamstripes, though. (Either that or removing the lone teamstripe at the front.)

Glows aside, the ship itself is great.

Oh, I totally meant to delete that. Huh.
I'll fix it up when I wake up.

Fixed the Glowverload (heh)

I took the additive blending off the doodads, it made it less glaring. Shrunk the docking bay glows a tad, no change to the white engines. I love white engines.
Besides I think that engines need to have a different glow color than the ship to be distinguishable.

And I felt like adding doodads to my darling, the Laissez-Faire

Fun fact, this is an early WIP of the Glowverload.
Spoiler!

The revision looks good, as does the "Magnum Opus" Laissez-Faire.

The only nitpick is the small thrusters. The exhaust glows appear to go to the edges of the thrusters, while the larger ones in the middle do not.

Oh I see it.
When you make a ship that large you tend to start half-assing things near the end. Thruster flares would be an unfortunate victim of that. I'll fix it, but I don't think I'll post a screen. You can see the ship just fine.

Here's that.

Put in the "Doog Edits" folder

And I actually made something.

With the absolute sickest beam array ever. But I've been working it a while so I don't want to screeny it, so you should download and play with it yourself :)
If anyone wants to do this for me, go for it.

This ship is meant specifically for DC control. Left click for blasters, space for the beam array.

Wow. 'Nuff said. These are amazing just to look at, especially the animated one.

@Necrontyr: That would mean my laptop's screen is buggy too, and it's a year old. You can see the green if you look very hard, but on first sight you don't see it :(

You posted something somewhere back about that animated ship. I believe you thought it was yellow, whereas Doogie said it was supposed to be green. That's why :3
