Ladies and gentlemen, I am proud to present the 1st Annual Delphinus Gulf Grand Prix, brought to you by the Solar Corporation! A total of 15 captains will compete in a series a races to claim the ultimate prize!

Bragging Rights! Woah!

Rules for ship entry:

1: Your ship will need a distinct color scheme, name, and history of the captain driving it and the ship's history.

2: Ships can be no larger than size 60.00, and no more than 25 sections TOTAL.

3: DO NOT change the HP, Speed, Turning, and Accel on your ship.

4: No Weapons other than defensive equipment. (flak guns, etc)

5: An unlimited amount of doodads, but don't go overboard.

6: Post must contain everything in Rule #1, and a picture.

7: A sponsor for your team will also be needed. Be creative!

8: DST_swnc, HorseMonster, Shiny, and SS_Prosectionax ONLY!

9: HAVE FUN!

Sorry if I didn't explain this well enough.

Here it is, in it's simple form: Make a ship by following the rules, then post it.

Second, this isn't really part of DGW, I just made this to pass the time. Even if I did want this to be in DGW, I'd have to ask one of the mods, or cryo.

But how are they going to race? I don't see how you could do it, unless they're time trials.

I am slightly saddened that we can't arm our ships to the teeth and go all "Contender eliminated."

Also, how race? I'm not sure I understand.

Y'know you could put this in the Galactic Polictics thread right? if this is a race why not just something corvette sized atleast (Shamrocks mini cute corvette size) and i'm not sure how this would be any fun to the applicants because you just move them around and around and around in BSF (BSF engine isn't designed for a racing game) plus why captain when it's supposed to be pilot

Presumably it's not a canon thing (how many fuckin' factions in the DGW would seriously participate in something like this), hence why it's not in the Galactic Politics board.
