Here is simple way to test if your ship is too OP.

Take your drednaught and pit it against... Mioran Arasaw, SAR Maelstorm, Ratai Orentis (stantard variant), That.. Novian...ehh... whatever it was called drednaught separately and if your ship destroyes all four, it propably is too OP. If it destroys.. say 1-3, It's pretty much okay. If it gets defeated by all, then it propably could need little buff.

Well, I hate to say it, but it looks worse than it did before, so they fail at that job.

Well, they do look lighter than the teamstripes to me. They may have the same color set to them, but it is a different sprite set after all (colors vary between sprite sets). Try darkening them by about 33% - 50%.
