The sprites on that first one look pretty old, what are they?

The second ship looks a little cluttered and with no sence of depth ( normally the darker sprites are the ones underneath the ship).

The pirate one has interesting depthing, but the weopons placement could be better, and coloring, or shading at least.

i'm gonna be honest.
Both of those shiny ships looks Clutttered that you may want to Avoid while the shape may be good you have to avoid it at all Costs
i don't like how you used the fake aegis which makes the pirate corvette even uglier but if you remove the sections with fake aegis and the ablative armor the pirate corvette will look more better and less cluttered.
