My first day with Shiny sprites.

Let's face it, the main attraction of BSF is building your own ships. Share them! If you need help, check the Shipmaker Info & Help forum a little ways down.

You should keep this abstract blue style and create a fleet. With ship sizes that range from 30 to 150.
The freighter looks improved.
A battleship shaped like a crescent moon with a ball in the middle should fit in nicely.
Don't worry about time. It took me three hours to complete my ship (Heavens Grace HG 9 Seraph).

These are very good shipsies indeed. Perhaps you could join our war for the universe thingy. You almost have full set over there.

If was thinking about making a fleet. But I quite don't understand how the size works, like how you said 30 to 150.

I might think about that ROni.

Unless you're following some balancing standard with other users, there is no size working. It is whatever you feel like.

Okay. Thanks. I'll start working on a fleet right away. But I'm at school right now, so it'll be awhile.

I'll have to give it a name though, It'll be called the Citca Empire, technology obsessed aliens. They use alot of laser, beam, etc. weapons.

We don't have any rules in WFTU as of yet (and propably won't), but I suggest you handle the balancing by testing your ships against other factions of same... err.. meta game. Doogie's faction, Miora, are most brutal of the punch, mine are on the weaker end (but numerously ~largest fleet of all factions.) Go read some WFTU threads, especially the faction stories, and then see where your's fit.

Also, this might be useful. viewtopic.php?f=2&t=6968

( o.o)/ Gud luck, you technosucka vermin alien!

A ship's size is shown when you click the add button in shipmaker. A little screen with ship data displays parameters of your ship below all the sprites and doodads, such as core HP. The ship's size is on the bottom. It's based on the section sprite furthest from the core, also represented by the circle around your ship, but not numerically.

Why not go with a" time" feeling name without explicitly saying the word "time". It usually sound more pleasing that way.

Try:
Grand Chroniclers (Peaceful science name)
The Last Watch (Foreboding military name)
Thirteenth Hour (If you've been keeping up on the darkness thread. The thirteenth chime of a clock is superstitious for the end of the world.)

Maybe I can call them " The Grand Watch." <Nickname, their real name could be somthing really weird, like something foreign. Their sort of like futuristic time traveling cops. :D

"We will find you, whether it be past present or future."

Or just "The Watch," cause you know, watches have to do with time.

Thanks, it's just a fake blue aegis over a black section, it's simple but the outcome is AMAZING.
