War for the Universe - Independent Ships

The idea here is to help flesh out the fleets of the neutral/minor factions somewhat, as well as the various pirates and mercs and whatnot. Most of these ships are a "common pool" of sorts that several minor factions use since they can't always develop their own ships from scratch, while some are more personalised for an individual faction.

A versatile and highly capable light warship capable of performance matching some dedicated military craft, Han-Ronald Engineering's Corsair is popular amongst many paramilitary, mercenary and pirate groups, as well as with some independent minor powers. The design is easily modified, resulting in a wide variety of variants in existence.

Anyone, feel free to make more ships and post them here, or make more variants of this one. The idea for this one was for it to serve as something like Meta1/2 pirate ships (the corvette in particular), with a lot of variants of the same hull.

Delphinus Warship. Easy to manufacture. Wealthier pirates love to assemble these out of scrap metals and such to sell to indepent world militaries.

The TSE military.
They lost the civil war and, as a result, retreated off into the independent worlds or other factions. Usually hiring themselves out or selling their ships to independants.

They usally help the Terrans in anyway they can to repay them of the Good Deeds they have given the People of Tyrus. They have 3 fleets but still not cosidered as a faction because they lack a Government but they have they have nice numbers for a War.

D:First Ship of the Desert Planet Tyrus in Tendrorus Star system. Used by the Mercs and Bounty Hunters, it is made by First-Era Materials found Scattered near Tyrus IV. It is still reliable due to it's low cost of build and maintenance. (The Ship's Bridge is like a Naval Destroyer.)

Includes several Cepheus sector ships, like the Parax and Ishoth. Has the two designs listed above as well. I also threw in the privateer variants just because. Two Mioran Commerce stations are there, as well as the Mioran jump node. Feel free to recolor and edit those for whatever purpose you want. They're pretty generic designs anyhow.

Calvin, your Corsair contains a HM Weapons sprite that doesn't actually exist. Custom sprites\HorseMonster_DetailedWeapons\HM_wepEnergyTur07a.gif

I downloaded the very latest iteration of his weapons pack just to be certain, and yeah, there is nothing with that name. It's not in the repack either. Is it an edited sprite you made or got somewhere?

Also people, seriously, it's not hard to package ships with sprites. It should be something everyone does.

EDIT: Aaaand the Kuparax has another HM Weapons sprite that doesn't exist! Custom sprites\HorseMonster_DetailedWeapons\HM_wepMachinegun01fixed_noanimation.gif

THAT IS NOT A SECTION THAT HAS BEEN OFFICIALLY RELEASED ANYWHERE THAT I KNOW OF. If you're going to use shit like that, package sprites with your ships for fuck's sake.

Double-Edit: 'Aaand Custom sprites\HorseMonster_DetailedWeapons\HM_wepDoubleMediumCannonSynch01.gif' from one of the Independent ships.

Triple Edit: Add 'Custom sprites\HorseMonster_DetailedWeapons\HM_wepEnergyTurret05a.png' to the list of sprites you used that don't fucking exist in HorseMonster's official download.

TBH, I'm not really sure where I got that. I'm sure I didn't make myself though, so it was probably an edited sprite made my someone else that I got when I downloaded their ship and sprite pack. It seemed legit when I used it though. I'll go fix it.

I made a mistake. The last two ones are from the latest download, which I didn't have because HorseMonster is dumb and didn't post the latest update in his thread, only adding it to the OP instead, so I somehow missed it.

The Kuparax is the only one containing a section which doesn't actually exist in the official download, Custom sprites\HorseMonster_DetailedWeapons\HM_wepMachinegun01fixed_noanimation.gif

Still, problems like this wouldn't occur if people included sprites in their downloads.
