Well the coloring is a lot better especially on the blue ship's. But the thing that bothers me with these one's is the overall shape of the 'Asbanun'. it's a little boring to be honest.

Hmm maybe make all the turrets of Zyjameh 75? and an arc range of 90? because it can be good to both Function and Aesthetic and you can try to to replace the red parts of the zyjameh to shiny if you can

Ah-ha, like this? I changed the ablative armor to shinies but now I feel as if the nose section requires a turret or two. It does look nice though in my book.

I never was good at eyecandy. Latoonie gave it the name of the Teardrop Terror which made me lol, so I went with the teardrop shape. Give me my Audacity, EastWest, and my soundcloud any day. I assume the Crusader-class (Lnicytan-class) has the same offense?

Certainly. I do feel as if I went a little bit too crazy with the rear pieces of the ship, so I'll cut out some eye-straining thingies. Or I'll just remake the ship entirely to be similar to the Crusader or Lnicytan-class.

Here's a new design. I remembered there was an Effects panel and tried to put a tad more detail into it. I suppose it could just replace the Asbanun.

Lahdineuh-class Supercruiser
Image

The Lahdineuh-class, or Centurion-class, Supercruiser is designed to replace the inefficient Asbanun-class Fortress Cruiser. Albeit a little faster, the Centurion suffers from less effective armor plating. The best part about the Centurion is that it can be outfitted for different weapons and utilities (Called "Configurations") while still remaining as a heavy threat on the space battlefield. The "Primus configuratio" or Prime Configuration is four, dual-barreled KLAS-Laser Cannons, three X-KRAC-10's, Four KRAC-101's, two KAC-40's, and four MINMIS-87's. Although heavily armed, the Prime Configuration lacks active defenses and must rely on the the ships under it's command for protection. The ship was called a "Centurion" for it's usual role in fleet command.

I like. Very much actually.
However I do think you should work on the transition from the central grey to the outer blue. Bulkheads, similar to what I do on my Miora ships, could do the trick.

Wow i really agree. Perhaps do a bit of shading which the center is lighter then the sides are darker

I decided to try improvement on shading with a smaller craft before moving onto a more larger vessel. In short, this is what I got.

Knet-class Fighter
Image

The Knet-class, or Grid-class (named after the division of Kralas Civil Protection Forces), is a more agile craft designed for supremacy. While armed with repeating KLAS-Laser Cannons for other fighters and such, this configuration of the Knet comes equipped with a high-output engine. The fighter is intended for dogfighting but some pilots have found it easy to harass warships.

And here you learn one of the big guidelines with ship building: Try not to use shiny sections with SW sections, the transitions are too obvious and makes the sprites seem jumbled. (Trust me, Anna saw a ship i had made with both section types and was not amused).

I was told to use Shiny sections for external parts while using non-shinies for internal systems. Am I not suppose to do this or is it fine? I'm being told two different things, Sonny Jim.

I'm afraid I see no such post. It is highly advisable not to mix these two sprite types as far as I know...
