New thread for the new year.

Let's face it, the main attraction of BSF is building your own ships. Share them! If you need help, check the Shipmaker Info & Help forum a little ways down.

I have decided to build the ultimate brick.
300 sections, 33 gunports, still WIP.

Say hello to the Siegebreaker Superdreadnaught.
I'm going to elongate the rear and front parts extensively after I'm done with the first set of sidepods(yes, first), a lot of sectionwork needs finetuning too, then theres only color, doodading and weapons left. :D

Please tell me it will be more elegant than that when it's finished.

Bricks aren't meant to be elegant!
Still, yes, it will look a lot better when finished.

Sadly, my ambitions fall to their own hubris. Reached code-cap a while ago, before even doing weapons and glows etc.
This is all there ever will be of the Siegebreaker Superdreadnaught, and I will never get to see it fire off a single salvo of Earthshaker tacnukes or let loose hell with its Sunlance anti-planetary beams.

Code cap? I've never heard of that. Does BSF run out of memory because it's got so many parts or something?

Something like that, it gets to a point where there's too much data in the ship save file and the game refuses to load it. I don't think people ever figured out 100% why that was, and it usually isn't a problem. The sad thing is, you never know if you've passed it or not untill you try loading it ingame and realize it won't work. ;_;

Needs more engines.
Not enough Delta in your life? Have a look at https://twitter.com/Deltabacon1 - I do a fair amount of casting and esports analysis which may appeal to some of you who are that way inclined!

Made this today, possibly considering joining WFTU because I had some ideas of how to make it work for my building style.

The Eveningstar cruiser in its stock, straight-out-of-factory configuration, so far unarmed and unstatted, and very very shiny.

That's a damn fine ship, the highlights are very nicely done.
