I don't know how you do it, but you make section combinations that shouldn't go well together look fantastic.

Not sure which parts you're referring to on this one, but I think a lot of that is just because i spend a lot of time adding and deleting different sections in teh same place till I get something that looks good. :V

I suppose I'm sort of on a roll here. This one's a bit below the others in quality, and I only did the white/black/red paintjob to see if I got a good contrast of subsurface, surface and highlight sections, but now I can't be fucked to change it.

I agree with Calvin, on a dimmer screen setting, I can't even see the dark bits.

I suppose on some screens it could be hard to see, I checked it on all three of the computers I've got sitting around though and it looked fine so I figure I'll leave it unchanged.
In other news, I feel like I'm a factory with the rate I'm churning ships out lately.

Nothing really interesting here, I suppose, I was just messing around and it ended up smaller than I expected.


This however, is my Thronecrusher class battleship, which was something I started working on in december and never finished and I decided to tackle it again. Pretty happy with it, mostly dst-swnc sections.

I don't think it's really my thing. I try making coherent fleets sometimes but after the third or so ship I typically get bored with the style. Also WFTU ships are so small, I'm not good at building small things. :(
