My (somewhat) crappy ships

Let's face it, the main attraction of BSF is building your own ships. Share them! If you need help, check the Shipmaker Info & Help forum a little ways down.

Its just a green brick...
Really, there's no errors but there isn't much of anything else either.
Glad to see a new face around here. I really would like to see your SW shipses.

1. I know it's indeed a green brick.
2. alright... I found out I have vanquished them all to the eternal bitfields, so I'll build one from scratch, since I happen to have 50% of Kaelis' SW sprites somewhere.

Okay, here it is:

That is infinitely better. But you REALLY should avoid stock green. Always start greyscaled.
But really, that's quite nice. I advise that you lurk more and see what some of us have done.
I look forward to your future ventures.

Okay, I'll use greyscale from now on. However, since I'm supposed to be making homework right now, I won't be able to make anything yet. I'll make some more things when the weekend arrives.

Ever heard of sarcasm? This is the basic one, which is a real brick. I have one which is 'a SPIKED BRICK'. Wanna see?

When it grows up it could be a cinderblock.
You should take a screenshot of a fleet laid out in a brick wall pattern to further reinforce this brick ship style.
Make them all a deep red color and put tiny white ships between them all.

Not intending to be offensive, just trying to assist in further refining the brick style.

I have no idea what he's on about but you could add wings to break up the rectangular shape.

These are cinderblocks. It is like a brick, only larger. More "grown up" works for the metaphor.

A much larger ship could be named after or shaped like this (yes with the holes too if you want).
This advice is based on your signature. I am assuming that you favor the rectangular shape.
These suggestions are to reinforce and improve upon that shape.

Ahaa. Well, to be honest, my signature is a joke. Wings on a brick seems weird though, but building larger blocks seems good though. I just need to see whether or not my large ships are decent, of which I have one that doesn't look like crap:

But, if we're talking about winged bricks... I once did something with my first brick to make it less rectangular and it sucked.

[IMPORTANT] An AWFULLY LARGE STATION

Post by DerpCactusDerp »

Hello everybody,

It's been a little while since I made something, so it's time I did:
Hugestationorsomethingawful.PNG
The thing on the right side is a support bar, the left is an internal layer. I'm not sure which looks better.

Comments are welcome, criticism, if sensible, necessary.

EDIT: I have no idea who downloaded my huge brainfart, but if you have, please tell meh what you think:D
