I decided to redo some of my old ships with SWA and some fancy techniques. need some opinion and feed backs

Not a fan of that first one as it seems to use all the worst SWA sections. The second one looks okay though. The colours are a bit on the bright side and probably could do with less saturation, as they look a bit garish, but yeah, looks pretty nice.

but i still want to keep the shape of the first ship, so i remade it, also shaded it so the turrets stand out a bit more

This looks like a shiny and completely updated version of something Aralonian from the ancient Era of Titans. Pretty nice, too.

Colours are way too saturated and the centerline triple turrets look a bit odd. Bad repetition on the neck too. Too curvy to be Aralonian.

was wondering if someone thought the triple turrets look as bit odd. i wanted to make something oval-ish with smooth sides, but the SHN parts lack something small enough to form that shape. i might have to dig around other sets. as for the coloring, i kind of picked 3 shades of same color and just went with it, was just trying to add the feeling of depth to it.
as for the repetition, i want that shape but i can't find just the 1 or 2 parts that have the right feel to it and have the right size to it. i wanted that flat deck feel to it with sides slanting off, would be nice if someone could show me something close it. plus, is it really that bad? just see it as one giant section or something

try alternating sections, it's technique that works quite well. one repeated section looks bad, but a repeated pattern of sections (try one wide and one narrow) looks much better
