Krictic Shipyard Firsts Prototypes

These are the firsts prototypes of my ships, i called them Krictic Exploration Ship MK I (Facky name to poor maked ship) and Starfighter Adriatic.
say your opinions!

I know the ships stll crude, buti will improve them later, but for now,please test them and say your opinions, theya re overpowered? they need less weapons? what can i improve?

Its it, now i have made all of them and learned the basics of parenting, colouring and et-cetera, i need to know whats the bests prototypes i made to i use as references to the new designs, please, say what you think, i need a north to begin my REAL ships.

obs: i know its somewhat pointless to make the metaverse reference but i like to contextualize everything to make sense. sorry about it.xD

updated: The last update i gonna make in this post, as soon i get some feedback from some people i gonna post my newer ships in another Topic. thanks. Zip updated too!

Welcome. Best strategy for getting comments is to post pictures. In fact its unlikely anyone will even download them without some. You can take screenshots in shipmaker by pressing 'home' to get default zoom, then F11 to hide any parenting lines and such, then f9 to give you a crop box. All this is available in the stickies at the top of the forum. I look forward to seeing what you've built.

Good. First thing I noticed though, is there some weird parenting on the station? I destroyed one of the arm tips and the station lost all its weapons and shielding...The fighters handled themselves well enough, though I'd move the twin autocannons back a smidge so they can't be shot off so easily.

Im thinking in take off the twin-autocannons and put some more lightly weapons.
i wills e the problem in the station as soon i can. this is really strange.
i have some new models, but i have no time now.

I still don't updated and corrected my ships et because of time and patience, i need some coke, im sleepy.

Default zoom plz - HOME key.
Don't recolor weapons, ugly as sin.
Give ships color (on their sections!), stock green is boring.
Try using some of the super-awesome custom sprites instead of lame stock sections which people got bored of seeing ages ago.

Lurk a bit an see for yourself, any other comment I say will be useless without that.

Noone cares about balance, seriously.
Just make stuff look good.

I tyed use some custom sprite, but they are so painfull to import...
how can i import entire files?
other thing, i don't know all the sprites yet, im quite new on this thing.
I will try make a new version of the Station.
about the zoom...
i will see what can i do.

open "group arrange" under tools on the top bar, there you can just drag and drop files from your custom sprites folder to the group arrange screen.

(don't forget to save your "sprites ini" file)

The pure red has a tendency to burn eyes. Other than that, it's a decent ship.
BTW the rabbit has a mirring error with the center engine, as does the Exploration Class Frigate with the center piece.

Yeah, desaturating your colors (read: more grey, less bright) is a good way to make stuff look better and less eyeburn.
That's actually the real problem with "stock green". A more grey-green would be totally fine if you like green.

Honestly, when making stock-styled ships with stock-styled sections, I have no problems with bright colours or stock green or whatever. For stock ships, these are fine. If he was going for a more built-up look, then I'd say otherwise, but this is stock-style through and through for the most part, and that sort of colouring works for it just fine.
